IMO, it's a good thing when the mechanics make you align with what the character's feeling. Story-wise it felt very uncomfortable, mechanically seems to make one feel out of their element and wishing they had the strength and tools available to the main character, which I think perfectly drives emotional engagement further. ![]() I can't say how I feel about this one in particular because I never played TLOU myself just watched a friend play through it. Breath of the Wild makes a compelling case, to give a recent example.
